The Logiwaste control system is specially developed for automatic collection of waste and laundry (AWCS). The system ensures that the installation is available all day and all year, while it optimizes operation and energy consumption. It provides high security, scalable design, a simple production environment and and easy, user-friendly interface.
High security
The control system is designed for a high security level. The system supports individual access control with varying levels of authorisations for operators and users of the system. All units and communications in the entire system are encrypted. Redundancy is possible at low cost, and all system events are logged and saved.
Flexibility and scalability
The control system is scalable and can be customised to match the unique demands circumstances in each installation, making it able to fit both large and small facilities. It can be used in new AWCS and for expanding or modernising existing systems. The system works equally well in our proprietary installations and other OEM systems.
Easy operation and management
Maintenance, upgrades and repairs are simple and cost effective. The system is designed with easy replaceable standard components which don’t require brand specific hardware. Standard servers, switches and routers are used with IP traffic the entire way to the inlet hatches. The system runs either from on-site servers or through a hosting service. It integrates with PLC components and are easily linked to SCADA systems.
Intuitive and user-friendly
The control system has an intuitive user interface that can be easily accessed from several platforms – PC, Mac, tablets. It lets users have easy access to pre-defined reports for commonly used information. Simple alarm management that uses text messaging.

The control system enables optimizing when the automated vacuum waste collection system staging valves are emptied using a range of factors for the most efficient operation. Inlet system
The waste/laundry inlets are the installation’s interface with the user, and is always available and ready to take in material at all times of the day. Logiwaste highly emphasizes providing the user with an easy, hygienic and efficient means to dispose of waste or laundry bags.
Pipe system
The pipe system ties the inlets and the valve spaces together to the terminal. The Logiwaste pipeline system is designed to minimize both wear on the waste bags and wear on the piping in the system. This makes for a longer lifespan and more reliable system operation, from inlet to terminal.
Terminals
Containers for the sorted fractions are located in the terminal, which also has technical equipment necessary for a reliable operation. Logiwaste designs customized terminals for small, flexible modules or up to large and advanced.
